Host: China Development Institute (CDI) and New Zealand China Council (NZCC)
This year, CDI and NZCC think tank dialogue series continues with a focus on supply chain relationship between China and New Zealand, and challenges and opportunities for both countries.
The recent report released by NZCC on NZ’s import relationship with China revealed that China remains NZ’s top supplier of goods, including in emerging areas like green technology, greatly contributes to NZ’s decarbonization effort, and does not pose any systemic risk to NZ’s economy.
In this edition of CDI-NZCC dialogue, government, industry and think tank representatives will shed light on the future and challenges of bilateral trade relations, specifically green tech and renewable energy supply chain cooperation, and on Southern Link and how it can benefit New Zealand, China and Latin America.
