To celebrate the 25th anniversary, CDI has hosted a Seminar themed at International Perspective & Think Tank Innovation with 2 topics: Think tank viewpoint: China and world economic outlook; New approach of think tank development.

Mr. Xiang Huaicheng, Former Minister of Finance, Chairman of CDI gave an opening remark on the development and achievements of CDI in the past 25 years. Economists from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Bank of China, China Center for International Economic Exchanges, J.P. Morgan and Asian Development Bank shared some of their observations on world economy. 

The seminar also invited leaders from Economic Strategy Institute, U.S.A, Korea Institute for International Economic Policy, as well as expert from Research Centre of Think Tank, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences to discuss the development models and management of think tanks.

During the past 25 years, CDI has being committed itself to meet the changing requirements of China’s reform and opening up, and it has explored a new approach of marketization of think tank in China.
