Wu Liangcheng

Biography
Dr. Wu is now the doctoral adviser and visiting professor of Nankai University, the economic consultant for Guiyang Municipality of Guizhou Province, the Independent Director of Shenzhen Fountain Corporation. He was responsible for the “CDI Macro-economic Climate Index” from 1995 to 1997. He also presides over “Urbanization and public policy Column” on Chinese Financial Daily. In recent years, Dr. Wu focuses his research on four fields: urbanization and its public policies; industrial and regional development; macro-economy; strategic consulting for large enterprises.

Qu Jian

Biography
Dr. Qu Jian has abundant experience in consulting projects. He has taken the lead of nearly 100 projects from governments of all levels, as well as many feasibility studies for the enterprises of both foreign and domestic. Dr. Qu has written over 100 academic papers, mostly of which are on FDI and regional development. He also makes lots of appearances in economic programs on TV.

Guo Wanda

Biography
Dr. Guo has abundant working experiences in university, government and large enterprise. As the Vice President of CDI, he is in charge of economic research & consulting projects, especially the study on government policy made for both central and local governments. In 2008, Dr. Guo was awarded the Cheveling Fellowship, funded by British government, and has been to Scotland for the program of “Low Carbon Economy”. In 2009, he organized a research team in CDI to study on Low Carbon Economy, especially on Low Carbon City.

Mr. Tang is the Executive Vice President of China Development Institute. Prior working with China Development Institute, He was the Deputy Director of Development Research Centre of Hainan Province. He has many years’ editing experience in media and being a veteran editor in economy, he has been in charge of editing many books, including “Economic Yearbook of Hainan Special Economic Zone”, “The Front Problem in China’s Reform and Opening-up” etc..

Fan Gang

Biography
President of China Development Institute; Professor at the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; Director of China's National Economic Research Institute (NERI).
Prof. Fan is a well-respected expert in the macroeconomics of long-term development, international trade and currency, foreign relations and China's regional integration within Asia. He is most renowned for addressing such topics as China's financial risk and financial systems reform, foreign exchange regimes and revaluation, China's economic reform, and globalization.
Prof. Fan has written over 100 academic papers, over 200 articles for magazines and newspapers worldwide along with eight books on macroeconomics and the economics of transition. He now regularly writes a monthly series called "Enter the Dragon" exclusively for the public benefit corporation Project Syndicate.
